This is a really great family or group place to stay. Great owners and staff, great location, nicely kept up exterior pool, BB court, bocci ball lane, volleyball, corn hole, ping pong...I probably forgot something..yep horse shoes! The rooms leave a bit to desire, but we get you don't come to be in the room. It would be nice for a working bathroom fan, just sayin...regardless we would and WILL come back. We had a blast! Thank you.
This is such a great place to stay. We found it to be very kid and family friendly which was just what we were looking for. The staff is warm and welcoming, kind and helpful. The pool was very relaxing and the lake was about a three minute walk from our room. They have basketball, cornhole, horseshoes, swings, bocce ball and ping pong. There’s a lot to do and I’m sure I missed something. This is our second year coming up here on the same weekend and we will definitely be back next September!
Tremendous place. Well kept and Owners are very friendly and professional. They make you feel comfortable at their beautiful Resort. Many activities: a pool, lake and various games. Beautiful full functional cottages. Would love to return.
We love staying here. The houses are wonderful and the views are spectacular. It's the best, especially while the marina is open. You can walk to the marina from the house and you can keep an eye on your boat.
We had the privilege to stay at Sugarloaf Cottages the first week of August 2021, and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Harold was an incredible host, the property was well kept, and the common areas (pool, dock, volleyball, bocce ball, corn hole, etc.) were delightful. Despite the lake being at a low level, we had a great time boating. I’d highly recommend a stay here, and plan to come back soon. Thanks Harold!
Sad to leave after a wonderful weekend at Sugarloaf! The manager is SO kind and made our weekend so special! This is our second time staying here. Everyone is so nice and the cabins are adorable. Will definitely come back again soon!
Marty is amazing! We were just up for a family get together and had cabins 14 and 15. Marty is an incredible host. Kids played all over the grounds, volleyball, game room, basketball and corn hole. They proved everything from plates to bowls, bring your own favorite dishes and cook them up, Weber bbq provided for each unit! Thanks again for the surprise Monopoly game to come back to at the end of the day! Appreciate the memories Marty!
Have been using Sugarloaf cabins for our fishing trips for many years. Convenient location in Lakehead. Decent kitchens, BBQ grill, nice outdoor area.
